Welcome To The Buddhist Media Network Mobile Application
Welcome to the official Mobile Application of ‘The Buddhist’ Media Network; the Premier Buddhist Radio Channel in Sri Lanka. Programmes are broadcast and transmitted throughout the day and night, from the studios at Sri Sambodhi Viharaya, which is situated at Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7.
The Sri Sambodhi Viharaya was established to disseminate the Dhamma and to create an awareness of the sacred teachings of the Supremely Enlightened Buddha, within Sri Lanka and throughout the world.
The sublime words of the Buddha, generate peace of mind and tranquility and the content focuses on the philosophical aspects of the Dhamma.
Establishment and commitment
This Channel is a non-profit oriented Organization. It was pioneered by our Most Ven. Daranagama Kusala Dhamma Nayake Thero, the inspiring Chief incumbent of Sri Sambodhi Viharaya, at Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7, Sri Lanka. The Organisation is sponsored by the generosity of both individuals and insitutions of the public and private sectors, in Sri Lanka and of well wishes from other countries.
